Silver-copper alloy is a silver alloy with copper as the main alloying element.

The copper content in silver-copper alloys varies in color from silver-white through rose-red to red. It is finely crystallized, non-brittle and has better wear resistance than pure silver. Its outstanding feature is the ability to resist sulfides. Used as electrical contact materials are AgCu5, AgCu7.5, AgCu10, AgCu15, AgCu20, AgCuNi20-2, AgCu25, etc.. With good mechanical properties, wear resistance and anti-melting properties, mainly used as high-voltage, high-current relay contacts and electrical contacts in light and medium load circuits, mainly used as brazing material AgCu7.5, AgCu25, AgCu28, AgCu55, etc., with AgCu28 being the most widely used. With good electrical conductivity, fluidity and wettability, it is widely used in the electric vacuum industry. Because of the resistance to long-term load at high temperatures, it is only suitable for brazing parts with working temperatures below 400℃. Silver-copper alloy is also commonly used as coins and decorative items. Used as coins of the alloy AgCu7.5, AgCu8, AgCu10, etc.; used as decorative items such as AgCu8.4, AgCu12.5.
